My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to help deliver a large earthworks and highways scheme in Stockport. The scope of works you will be required to help manage will involve bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage, and associated infrastructure works.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
* Managing and overseeing all engineering aspects of the project.
* Setting out and surveying works in line with programme requirements.
* Producing and reviewing RAMS and ITPs.
* Carrying out volume calculations and material take-offs.
* Creating and managing 3D models for earthworks and highways packages.
* Quality assurance and documentation control.
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the client.
Senior Engineer Requirements:
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.
* Gold or Black CSCS card.
* SMSTS (preferred).
* Proven experience delivering earthworks and highways schemes.
* Strong experience with volume calculations and cut/fill analysis.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar modelling software.
