We have an exciting new role for a Tax Apprentice to join our Stanley, County Durham office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to start your career in tax advisory, joining an apprenticeship scheme, you will be working towards an internationally recognised tax qualification (ATT) and gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a highly respected accountancy firm.
You will join a dynamic Tax team with a high-quality client base and rapidly gain responsibility whilst at the same time completing your accounting qualification with us.
Key Responsibilities Of a Tax Apprentice Will Include
* Personal Tax Returns
* Corporate Tax Returns
* P11ds
* Company Secretarial work
* Tax Team admin work (i.e., chasing client information, corresponding with HMRC (Telephone, Email, Letters))
About You
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 including English and Maths.
* Keen to have a career in tax and to study tax qualifications.
* Flexible work attitude and willingness to learn.
* Great communication and customer service skills.
* Work well under pressure.
* Enjoy working as part of a team.
* Excellent integrity & ethical standards.
