Job Responsibilities
* Strategic and Operational Management: Develop and implement strategic plans, oversee daily operations, liaise with NHS bodies and external stakeholders, lead change initiatives, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Human Resources Management: Manage clinical and administrative staff, oversee recruitment and staff development, ensure HR legislation compliance, and handle disciplinary matters.
* Data and IT Management: Oversee IT systems, ensure data security, and maintain information governance standards.
* Facilities and Premises Management: Manage premises, health and safety compliance, and insurance coverage.
* Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop communication strategies, manage newsletters, website, NHS profile, patient feedback, and Patient Participation Group.
* Leadership and Team Development: Inspire teams, organize team-building activities, and promote professional development.
* Secondary Responsibilities: Deputise for GP Partners, participate in audits, support marketing, and promote patient online services.
Qualifications
Knowledge of GP practice funding streams, NHS contracts, and financial compliance. Skills in IT and financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NHS financial systems.
