About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Governance & Frameworks Manager to lead the development and oversight of our enterprise-wide governance framework. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation operates in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards, promoting transparency, consistency, and accountability across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and continuously enhance the organisation’s governance framework
* Establish and maintain effective governance structures, including committees and reporting lines
* Lead the development and management of the full policy lifecycle
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including those set by the UK Gambling Commission
* Oversee governance reporting, including dashboards, management information, and board papers
* Monitor adherence to governance standards and escalate risks or breaches
* Ensure alignment between policies, procedures, and control frameworks
* Act as a key liaison between Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, and operational teams
* Provide expert governance guidance to senior stakeholders
* Support governance committees, including preparation of materials and tracking actions
* Monitor regulatory developments and lead updates to policies and frameworks
* Support audits, regulatory reviews, and assurance activities
* Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, standardisation, and automation
About You
* Strong experience in governance, risk, compliance, or assurance roles
* In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice governance
* Experience working in a regulated environment (preferably gambling, financial services, or similar)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to influence at senior levels and drive organisational change
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Must be able to spend 3 days in Warrington
