What you will be doing
In this role, you will support Airbus's external presence and engagement. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering an integrated events strategy that effectively supports Airbus's overall business objectives;
* Developing a range of creative and cost-effective tools, resources, and platforms that combine the best of events and exhibition techniques;
* Providing clear guidelines and policies for all aspects of events, exhibitions, and protocol at Airbus.

Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
* Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Currently studying towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business or related subject;
* An interest in space, aerospace and some knowledge of the fantastic products Airbus designs;
* Communications and organisational skills, with attention to detail;
* Flexibility and the ability to travel to UK sites, events and occasionally overseas;
* But really the most important thing is what makes you tick. You must have a passion for people, be self-motivated and not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to stakeholders at all levels.
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.

About us
Join the Airbus UK Events and Communications team, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of tasks. You will assist with high-profile events, predominantly in the space sector, across the UK. This includes the organisation and logistical arrangements for various events, such as VIP visits, exhibitions, media and press events, and conferences. You will also assist in communications projects and campaigns that promote Airbus.
