Are you highly organised, people-focused, and ready to make a difference in your local community? We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Support Assistant to help deliver excellent services within our Waste Management team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking Directorate that's committed to regeneration, sustainability, and improving everyday life for residents across Rotherham.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Business Support Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operations—supporting both internal teams and external customers.
Your role will include:
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Creating and maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and databases.
Supporting colleagues with IT systems and packages.
Organising meetings, taking minutes, and managing diaries.
Ensuring compliance with council policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
We're looking for someone who:
* Communicates clearly and confidently.
* Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
* Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Works well independently and as part of a team
* Is adaptable and eager to learn.
