Estates & Asset Manager
Location: Cumbria Salary: Competitive Package Available | Full-time · Permanent
The Role
We're seeking a hands-on Estates & Asset Manager to take ownership of a mixed portfolio of residential, retail and distribution assets — working directly with the Owner/Investor and Group Finance Director. A practical, delivery-focused role where you'll bring structure, drive disposals and resolve legacy issues with pace and precision.
What You'll Be Doing
* Mapping the full estate — properties, ownership structures and key data
* Building and maintaining a clear portfolio management system
* Identifying underperforming assets and managing end-to-end disposals
* Resolving compliance, tenancy and condition issues
* Providing hold/sell/improve recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Supporting financial decision-making alongside the Finance Director
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in property, estates or asset management
* Background in disposals and portfolio rationalisation
* Highly organised — able to bring structure to complex portfolios
* Hands-on, proactive and confident working independently
* Comfortable engaging directly with owners and senior leadership
* MRICS qualified surveyor — desirable, with landlord side experience
