Where required work on steam turbine, pump & valve overhauls within Trillium UK workshops. Follow technical method statements with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to a high degree of accuracy Ensure on time completion of reports, assembly and tests to meet department K.P.I’s Be proactive in reporting and resolving any concerns, reporting any accidents and incidents Ensure all permit-to-work, and other work order card procedures are in place prior to and during operations. Willingness to undertake any ad hoc or unskilled jobs which are necessary. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team Planning and execution of practical site activities as directed by the Field Service Team Leader, including job specific method statements, fault diagnosis and risk assessments, in a timely manner and in accordance with quality procedures Assurance and adherence to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures as specified by both the Company and the Client Provide technical support and where appropriate liaise with the Company’s technical support team and/or the client’s field support to ensure appropriate actions are taken When required, supervision of the Company, Customer and/or Subcontract labour, ensuring use of resources and quality of work Maintenance of equipment integrity at all times Completion of Contract reports in accordance with the specified format and timescales Completion of all timesheets and expenses in accordance with relevant terms and conditions and Company procedures Ensure Company owned property is kept in good condition Able to obtain UK security clearance Education and skills: Time Served craftsperson in appropriate discipline, ideally with a NVQ 3 / HNC Mechanical Engineering. Substantial job experience in a similar role. Turbine installation, overhaul & refurbishment. Basic control systems. Coupling and internal alignment. Overhaul and commissioning of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Compressors, Pumps and Valves. Driving licence, valid passport, IOSH managing safely, safety passport.
