Application Technologist:

The Applications Technologist is responsible for the overall development of our products, including new innovations, reformulations, and flavor additions.
As Applications Technologist, you’ll work within the NPD team to develop and perfect recipes. You will own our formulations, ensuring each product provides a high-quality experience for consumers. Collaborating with the NPD Manager and Technologist, you will align products with customer expectations and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Innovations: Design and develop innovative products aligned with market trends and business objectives, focusing on cost, quality, functionality, and taste.
* Reformulations: Manage reformulation projects and implementations.
* Line Extensions: Analyze trends to identify opportunities for product portfolio expansion.
* Product Demonstrations: Conduct sensory evaluations and product demos internally.
* Raw Material Evaluation: Test and approve new ingredients, including flavors and functional components.
* Cross-Functional Support: Provide product expertise to support Marketing and Technical teams.

Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in the food/beverage industry

* Degree in Food, Culinary, or Nutritional Sciences
* Knowledge of ingredient functionality, flavor development, and formulation
* Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
* Understanding of food regulations and health claims
