In this newly created Senior Communications Manager role, you will oversee all aspects of PR, external communications, social media, and internal communications. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborating with the Marketing Director and Managing Partner to develop the firm’s communications strategy at both firmwide and departmental levels;
2. Managing media relations and building relationships with legal, industry, and national press, as well as overseeing a PR agency;
3. Creating a content strategy—enjoying writing and content creation is essential;
4. Handling external communications, including client communications, award submissions, and brand awareness campaigns;
5. Developing and implementing internal communications strategies, content, and channels;
6. Managing crisis communications;
7. Monitoring and measuring communication effectiveness;
8. Managing a Communications Executive.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience in a major law firm, strong press contacts, and enjoy content creation. Candidates with a journalistic background transitioned into law firm communications are encouraged to apply.
