You’ll be the vital link between scientific teams and the operational excellence that keeps their labs running smoothly. From managing specialist engineering support to implementing process improvements, your work will directly support world-class research and development.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant lab operations
* Managing the maintenance, calibration, and optimisation of key laboratory equipment
* Overseeing budgets, reporting performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for cost savings
* Driving process improvements and collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities
* Ensuring compliance with GxP, safety, and regulatory standards
What we’re looking for
* Background as a laboratory manager or leading laboratory engineer within a pharmaceutical or life science environment
* Proven leadership experience - mentoring, training, and performance management
* Expertise in scientific asset management and project delivery
* Experience in P&L management and financial reporting
* Strong understanding of health and safety compliance in a lab setting
