VolkerWessels UK is building a team to support its Highways Term Maintenance Contract in Luton. We are seeking a General Operative to work alongside direct and subcontract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.
Responsibilities
* Work with both direct labour and sub‑contract labour to deliver projects.
* Meet targets and deadlines for mechanical plant operation, kerb laying, drainage works, emergency call‑out work and tarmacking.
Qualifications
* Previous highways maintenance experience.
* Ability to use initiative.
* Good standard of English.
* Mandatory drug & alcohol screening to ensure healthy, safe working conditions.
