Job Description
We’re looking for Manufacturing Engineers to lead the industrialisation journey from design freeze to stable series production, ensuring products are manufacturable, safe, cost‑effective and robust.
About The Project
You’ll be working on major transportation projects with a global leader in sustainable mobility solutions, renowned for delivering advanced rail systems and pioneering technologies that keep cities moving efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do
* Enable Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfM/DfA): Collaborate with design teams, challenge concepts and ensure seamless integration.
* Industrialisation Leadership: Create Industrial Data Sheets, PFMEAs and define tooling, jigs and fixtures.
* Shopfloor Excellence: Develop clear work instructions, optimise layouts and validate method times for efficient production.
* Continuous Improvement: Solve problems, implement Poka‑Yoke and drive process optimisation.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing/process engineering or industrialisation within the rail industry.
* Strong analytical skills, hands‑on approach and a passion for operational excellence.
