Newstaff Employment is hiring a dependable HGV2 Night Driver in Luton to complete long-distance deliveries safely and efficiently during night shifts while supporting busy logistics operations.

Salary: £17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
1. Operate HGV2 vehicles for long-distance deliveries during night shifts
2. Ensure goods are transported safely and delivered on time
3. Carry out pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections
4. Maintain accurate mileage, delivery, and compliance records
5. Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery progress
6. Follow all transport laws, driver hours regulations, and company procedures
7. Assist with loading and unloading goods when required
8. Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
10. Valid CPC qualification card
11. Digital tachograph card
12. Proven HGV2 driving experience, ideally in long-distance work
13. Strong knowledge of driving regulations and health & safety standards
14. Excellent driving record with a safety-focused attitude
15. Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
16. Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
17. Flexible and reliable for night shift work
