Pay: £18 £22per hour Job Description: Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role is essential for ensuring that electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are carried out safely and efficiently. Duties Carrying out domestic rewires, fault finding, and general electrical works Working alone or within a small team. Performing electric testing 2391 Providing updates to supervisors and managers Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and techniques. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties. Qualifications Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations 5 years experience in domestic electrical work Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous.
