Production Manager
Location: Blackpool, England

Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Work schedule
Shift: Days (Monday to Thursday) – 4 day week (36 hours)
Responsibilities
* Manage three production facilities, ensuring coordination, resource allocation, and operational efficiency across all sites.
* Plan, schedule, and execute production to meet targets for output, quality, and delivery timelines.
* Develop direct and indirect production staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work culture.
* Implement and monitor health & safety and environmental standards to maintain compliance with regulations and promote a safe workplace.
* Optimize manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies.
* Monitor and control budgets, inventory, and supply chain activities to minimise costs and waste while maximizing productivity.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and introduce new products.
* Analyse production data and KPIs to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and report on performance to senior management.
* Ensure adherence to quality control standards and customer‑specific requirements in a multi‑discipline manufacturing setting.
* Drive innovation in production techniques to support scalability and adaptability in diverse manufacturing disciplines, such as assembly, fabrication, and component manufacture.
