Overview

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The position is a full-time role, split across our Head Office in Carshalton for three days and two days at our new flagship Banstead showroom. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. At our Head Office base we need some support with fielding calls, booking of appointments and a range of admin support to the Operations team. This role requires flexibility, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer and direct phone calls using excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
* Utilise QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks as needed.
* Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
* Proficiently use Google Suite for document creation, email communication, and data management.
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
* Support team members with various office tasks as required.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* Proficient in using computerised systems, including QuickBooks and Google Suite applications.
* Ability to perform data entry accurately with attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
* A friendly disposition with a professional appearance is essential.
