Reed Education are delighted to be working with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Doncaster, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and support pupils at a key stage in their learning journey.
The Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
* Support pupils in developing advanced skills in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects
* Prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments (e.g., SATs) where applicable
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet varied needs
* Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that promotes independence and critical thinking
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
* Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge, including assessment frameworks and SATs preparation
* Is engaging, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
* Possesses excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Is proactive and committed to ongoing professional development
