About this job
Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team on our contract with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals on a permanent basis. You will be required to work across the different hospitals within the contract.
What will you deliver?
* Manage the site delivery of all Fabric, M&E Lifecycle & Variation projects as part of the project delivery team on site.
* Manage site design, contract management, financial management, H&S, site management, snagging and hangover of every project.
* Provide management of a defined team of project reports (Site Managers & Project Co-ordinator) – demonstrate line management skills (5+ years).
* Take direct ownership for all projects where there is risk to commercial, financial and H&S matters.
* Support NHS CAPEX projects or Lifecycle projects, and/or wider EQUANS business.
* Implement projects safely, on time, on budget and to high standard from inception to final account stage.
* Manage the project pipeline in accordance with contractual KPI requirements and internal governance processes.
* Identify and manage project risks through mitigation measures.
* Full responsibility for all finances: invoicing, WIP management, contractual documents and monthly finance reporting.

Who are you?
* Experience operating in the public and/or private FM sector with a demonstrable track record of directly managing Fabric, M&E Project works within a large, complex estate – preferably in healthcare.
* High level of verbal, written and numeric skills, computer literate (MS Office, CAFM).
* Computer‑literate (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) with sound knowledge of CAFM/estates and project management systems.
* HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a building/construction or engineering discipline.
* Understanding of Local Authority legislation, Planning Applications, Fire and Building Regulations approvals.
* Knowledge of building and engineering services design and associated British Standards.
* Knowledge of H&S at Work Act, CDM 2015, and relevant statutory requirements.
* Valid driving licence.
* DBS Standard check – ability to pass is essential.
