A leading and well-established N.I. organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function. This is a key senior appointment, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, drive performance, and lead a high-performing finance team within a growing business. Reporting to the CFO, you will take full responsibility for financial management, reporting, and control, while providing strategic insight to support business decision-making. You will lead and develop a large finance team, ensuring best-in-class processes and a strong control environment. Benefits £60,000 - £80,000 salary Car allowance Bonus scheme Company pension Onsite parking 30 days annual leave Hybrid working Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and meaningful variance analysis Lead the production of annual financial statements and ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements Maintain strong balance sheet control and robust reconciliation processes Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear insight into business performance Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic planning, cost optimisation, and growth initiatives Manage, mentor, and develop a finance team of 10, fostering a high-performance culture Maintain and enhance internal controls, governance frameworks, and audit processes Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting, and operational processes The Person Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams Excellent technical accounting knowledge and audit experience Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel and financial systems experience (ERP exposure desirable) Strong communicator with the ability to influence at senior level Apply below or get in touch with Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
