Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (1-hour lunch)
Our client, a busy independent bodyshop in Southend-on-Sea, is looking for a confident and customer‑focused Bodyshop Advisor to take ownership of all front‑of‑house duties.
This role must be filled by someone from a bodyshop environment, either an experienced Bodyshop Advisor or someone currently working as a trainee Estimator / VDA‑type role who understands accident repair processes and customer handling.
If you enjoy dealing with customers, understand bodyshop workflows, and want a role with responsibility and progression — this is an excellent opportunity.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Managing all front‑of‑house and customer‑facing activity within the bodyshop
* Handling customer enquiries, booking vehicles in and providing regular repair updates
* Liaising with technicians, estimators, and insurers to track job progress
* Assisting with estimates, repair authorisations, and basic invoicing
* Ensuring a smooth customer journey from drop‑off to collection
* Delivering high levels of customer service in a busy repair environment
Your Background & Skills
* Previous experience within a bodyshop environment is essential
* Suitable experience includes: Bodyshop Advisor, Trainee Estimator / VDA, Accident repair customer service roles Etc.
* Strong understanding of accident repair processes and vehicle damage
* Confident communicator with excellent customer‑handling skills
* Organised, professional, and able to manage a busy front‑of‑house workload
