Business opportunity for an entrepreneurial Director to scale an established high end Central London Mortgage & Debt Advisory business.
JR Capital ( www.jrcapitalgroup.com ) is a London based multifamily office with an established in-house mortgage & debt advisory business ( www.jrprivatefinance.com ) serving our existing and loyal client base.
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial individual to join the business at Director level.
The individual will be responsible for developing and leading the long-term strategic growth of the business.
The business primarily serves our existing Middle Eastern client base, and there is significant potential to scale the business and expand the offering to wider markets and clientele.
Job Brief:
The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, strong lender relationships, and a proven track record in scaling a business. This role requires exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic growth business plan.
Lead and grow the debt brokerage team, including business development, transaction execution, and team management.
Develop and execute a hiring strategy to grow the team.
Explore expansion opportunities through corporate events, merger, acquisition or joint ventures.
Originate and manage client relationships with intermediaries such as developers, interior designers, wealth managers, family offices, lawyers, accountants and offshore trust companies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, private credit funds, institutional lenders, and alternative capital providers.
Structure and negotiate complex debt solutions (senior, mezzanine, bridge, structured, and asset-backed).
Represent the firm at industry events and enhance brand visibility in the market and leverage the wider JR Capital Group.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Requirements:
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale a business unit.
10+ years of experience in financial markets, structured finance, or debt advisory.
Transferrable book of clients / intermediaries
Strong network of lender and client relationships across relevant sectors.
Demonstrated track record of closing complex debt transactions.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Experience in a regulated financial advisory or investment banking environment.
