DEPARTMENT: Scotland Production Management
LOCATION: Glasgow (Office based)
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £28,600 - £34,400 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Alba Children’s team create over 60 hours of Children’s content each year for BBC Alba. This output, combined with various outreach projects, ensures the team is constantly busy. We require a dynamic, multi-tasking PC to join our team.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Ensure TX schedules are updated and relayed to the team from external Stakeholders.
* Liaise with BBC departments to ensure Studio, Craft and Post-production personnel are booked and kept informed of all planned filming.
* Complete all Post-Production paperwork using Silvermouse
* Raise Smartbooks/Requisitions and Purchase orders for production spend and ensuring running costs are updated and accurate.
* Compile weekly schedules to send to Planning, Presenters and External vendors.
* Demonstrate the BBC values
* Ensure Albert documentation is collected and delivered on time and making sure the production is as sustainable as possible
* Arrange School visits and outreach projects.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Demonstrates strong organisational and forward planning skills.
* Able to consider and propose new ways of working to improve existing processes.
* Demonstrable experience of carrying out a logistical coordinating role within a production team, ensuring Studio, Craft and personnel are booked well in advance of filming dates.
* Good working knowledge of end-to-end multi-platform production with an understanding of the technology used on productions.
* Able to use and advise on production systems and can adopt new technologies.
* Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective relations with a wide range of contacts.
* Ability to use own initiative with assurance using judgment to escalate where necessary.
* Ability to log shots either in the studio or on location
Desired But Not Required
* Gaelic language skills.
