We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Spa Manager to continue to lead our team and drive daily operations.
As Spa Manager, you will oversee day-to-day spa operations, lead staff, grow revenue, and ensure every guest has a relaxing, high-quality experience. This role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and strong business management skills to ensure smooth operations, team motivation and an exceptional guest experience. You will be required to carry out treatments on some shifts as we believe having a hands-on role makes all the difference to what makes a great spa manager.
We also run a training academy for aspiring beauty therapists so the ability to train others is extremely advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily spa operations and front desk activities
* Lead, train, and schedule therapists and support staff
* Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns
* Drive sales, memberships, and retail performance
* Monitor budgets and performance targets
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards
* Manage inventory and supplier orders
* Create a positive, motivating team environment
Requirements
* 2+ years management experience in a spa, salon or wellness setting
* A minimum NVQ level 3 beauty therapy Qualification
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent customer service and communication
* Sales-driven with business/financial understanding
* Organised and able to multitask
* Flexible availability (weekends/evenings)
* Knowledge of spa treatments and products
* Experience with booking or POS systems
* Experience with plant room operations
Preferred
* Teaching and assessor qualification would be highly advantageous to run and drive our training academy
