HR Administrator - Temporary

Location: Birmingham Business Park
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual looking to build your career in HR?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our busy HR team. You’ll play a key role in supporting all areas of HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and employee relations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Arrange 3- and 6-month reviews and return-to-work interviews.
2. Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and other HR correspondence.
3. Provide recruitment support including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and liaising with hiring managers.
4. Maintain accurate employee records and update information in the HR system (Cintra IQ).
5. Produce reports and assist with payroll administration, including auto-enrolment and statutory calculations (e.g., maternity, sickness).
6. Process new starters and leavers, and complete reference checks.
7. Ensure filing (both paper and electronic) meets quality and confidentiality standards.
8. Support colleagues with workload as part of a collaborative team.
9. Ensure HR policies and procedures are understood and followed at all times.
10. Organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.
About You:
11. Previous experience in an HR administrative or similar role is desirable.
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
14. Confident using HR systems (experience with Cintra IQ is an advantage).
15. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
16. A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
