Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
3. Conduct routine inspections of commercial electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, distribution boards, and components.
4. Perform electrical testing such as continuity, voltage, insulation resistance, and fault‑finding tests to ensure systems operate within safe parameters.
5. Test electrical systems and circuits to verify compatibility, safety, and compliance with relevant standards.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues identified during inspections or reported by building users.
6. Repair or replace defective electrical components, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and other commercial building infrastructure.
7. Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents to support testing and maintenance work.
8. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Maintenance Operative should have:

10. Proven experience in electrical maintenance within the property industry.
11. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
