Head of FP&A | Retail | £80,000 - £90,000 + Bonus | London (Hybrid, 3 days office)
A high-growth, multi-brand consumer business is looking to appoint a Head of FP&A to play a central role in shaping its financial planning and commercial insight capability. With a strong heritage in wholesale and an expanding direct-to-consumer and brand portfolio, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and diversification.
This newly created role will sit at the heart of that journey, helping to drive forward-looking financial visibility, improve decision-making, and support continued expansion. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader or a Senior Manager ready to step into their first “Head of” position within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the FP&A function, owning planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the business
* Develop and deliver a clear and consistent monthly performance reporting pack for senior leadership
* Drive a forward-looking view of performance, incorporating risks, opportunities and full-year outlook
* Own the budgeting, reforecasting and long-range planning processes
* Consolidate complex inputs across multiple business areas into clear, actionable outputs
* Partner closely with commercial teams, supporting revenue forecasting, margin and cost management
* Provide insight into trading performance, highlighting key drivers and areas of opportunity
* Support cashflow and working capital forecasting, particularly around inventory
* Build financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
* Collaborate with wider finance and commercial teams to ensure consistency of assumptions and reporting
Skills & Experience Required
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong FP&A experience within a consumer-facing, multi-channel or product-led business
* Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
* Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
* Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insight
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders
