Director of Revenue Data Strategy Job Description: As the Director of Revenue Data Strategy, you play a critical leadership role in driving the success of our ABX and CDP initiatives by ensuring our go-to-market teams have access to accurate, relevant, and timely data. You lead the strategy and oversight of third-party data partnerships, enrichment processes, and buyer-intent signal frameworks that empower Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to make data-driven decisions. Through the development of high-impact target account strategies and the delivery of actionable insights, you shape how the organization identifies, prioritizes, and engages the accounts that fuel revenue growth. Your strategic vision and cross-functional influence are essential to accelerating business outcomes and scaling our data-driven approach to revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of data analysts, engineers, and specialists, ensuring clear visibility into task priorities and capacity constraints. - Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with external data providers, continuously evaluating data quality and coverage. - Ensure that any third-party data integrates seamlessly with internal datasets and meets all compliance requirements - Define and maintain the data strategy for TALs, collaborating with product owners and sales/marketing stakeholders to identify high-value target accounts. - Enrich key data points (firmographic, technographic, intent) to ensure teams have the most relevant and actionable insights. - Identify and monitor high-value triggers from internal and external sources (intent data, product usage, etc.). - Develop frameworks or predictive models that highlight which accounts warrant priority engagement. - Work closely with the Product Owner - CDP to feed enriched data and buyer signals into the platform, driving advanced segmentation and hyper-personalized experiences. Must-Have Skills & Experience: - Resource Management: Proven ability to prioritize a backlog of data tasks across multiple stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in decisions. - Vendor & Partner Management: Successful track record in selecting and overseeing third-party data providers, including contract negotiations and performance reviews. - Data Curation & Strategy: Hands-on experience with data enrichment processes, TAL building, and ICP definition. - Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with data pipelines, intent data platforms, predictive analytics, and related tooling. - Business Impact Mindset: Demonstrated capability to translate data initiatives into tangible business outcomes (e.g., revenue, engagement, retention). - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills for working with Product Owners, GTM analytics teams, and business stakeholders. - Ability to travel approximately 6 times per year LI-RM1 Function: Product Country: United Kingdom Office Location: Newcastle Work Place type: Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you're supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
