Simply Education is currently working with an SEMH school in Scunthorpe to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment. This will be a full time position and starting as soon as possible.
As a teaching assistant in an SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
