Your role as PPC Executive
As a PPC Executive, you will play a key role within our Paid Media team, delivering best-in-class paid search and display campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with your manager and team to ensure campaigns are strategically sound, performance-driven, and aligned with our agency values.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the building, implementation, and optimisation of paid search and display campaigns, with a focus on generating targeted traffic and driving conversions. You’ll be expected to manage accounts with precision, contribute to performance insights, and maintain high standards of delivery across all touchpoints.
Main Accountabilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of paid search strategies aligned with client goals
* Execute day-to-day campaign management including setup, optimisation, monitoring, and reporting
* Build and manage campaigns across Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and Performance Max (PMax)
* Optimise campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform campaign structure and targeting
* Write and test ad copy to improve relevance and performance
* Monitor campaign performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports with detailed commentary, insights, and recommended actions
* Complete regular Search Query Reports to identify opportunities and refine targeting
* Manage budgets effectively to maximise ROI and ensure efficient spend
* Collaborate with internal planning teams, clients, and platform reps to drive best-in-class performance
Core Knowledge, Skills and Requirements
* You will be organised, determined and persistent
* As well having excellent written and verbal communication skills you will have a strong customer service ethos and ability to build lasting relationships.
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Strong knowledge of Excel
* An ability to consistently manage time appropriately and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are consistently met
* Experience in a paid media / PPC role (agency or in-house), with a desire to continue developing
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of the search engine marketing industry and wider digital marketing strategy
* Working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics
* Understanding of measurement, tracking, and core paid media metrics and performance drivers
* Comfortable collaborating with peers and contributing to knowledge sharing
* Completion of core Google Ads certifications

This is a hybrid role split between home and office working, ensuring you work from your contracted office, Manchester or Leeds, on the relevant allocated day.
