Working DAYS OR NIGHTS, 7-7 with every other weekend involved, 22hr Day contract & 33hr Night contract available. The home is divided into two units, one of which specialises in dementia care. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment. About the Role: As Care Assistant, you will assist other staff in the running of the Home and maintain high standards of care and service towards service users, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents. Please note – There is a genuine occupational requirement as to why Female only applicants are needed, as you will be supporting females. Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles. Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised. Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.
