The Best Connection West Bromwich is recruiting for a Yard / FLT Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent benefits and overtime potential.

Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00
* Overtime available with premium rates

About the Role
This is a varied and fast-paced position, with a mix of:
* 70% yard-based duties (outdoors)
* 30% FLT work
Your day-to-day will include:
* Picking gas cylinders using pick sheets
* Loading and unloading stillages
* Securing cylinders safely using ratchet straps
* Operating a Counterbalance FLT to load/unload HGVs
* Assisting customers with cylinder handling
* Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe
* Supporting with general duties as needed
Full PPE and workwear provided

✅ What We're Looking For
* Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Willingness to work overtime
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* A positive, team-focused attitude
