You will be working for a leading M&E contractor that has continued to grow into one of the largest M&E contractors in the UK. They work on a variety of different projects which include;mercial, industrial and high-end residential. They have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for the right people to join their team for this continued growth.
Your new role
1. Create a master baseline schedule in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software as per thepany procedures, industry best practise and client specifications.
2. Using schedule hierarchy, create schedules for project delivery andmunicate these to the project team.
3. Create separate and integrated templates and model programmes for three stages being Pre-construction, construction andmissioning.
4. Create detailed schedules covering design, procurement, installation and close out.
5. Incorporate the trade contractors’ schedules into thepany schedule hierarchy.
6. Manage progress reporting and integration of progress information into thepany’s progress reports.
7. Create and monitor KPIs and production of weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.
8. Engage in the change management process to determine the impact of change on the programme.
9. Create and manage themissioning programme.
10. Developmissioning KPI’s and reporting regime.
11. Prepare time impact analyses to support extension of time claims.
12. Evaluate extension of time claims from trade contractors.
13. Mentor and provide training to junior staff.
What you'll need to succeed
14. Previous experience working as an M&E Planner ideally on High End residential ormerical building services projects.
15. Previous experience using MS Project is essential.
16. Experience working in construction planning in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services contracting is essential.
17. Excellentmunication skills and attention to detail with the ability to produce reports.
18. Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to converse with clients and stakeholders at ease.
19. Ability to work to own directive and stick to strict timeline schedules.
