Stripe is an agency of creative, digitally-minded, content-loving people working in Edinburgh and London. We develop, launch, and manage social campaigns for clients including Whyte & Mackay, Scottish Government, Secret Garden Distillery, and FanDuel. Responsibilities / Position overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join our growing Studio and lead a small team of talented designers and content creators. You will oversee design initiatives, focusing on integrated projects and social media platforms.
You will work with various clients such as Whyte & Mackay, Scottish Power, Moda, Virgin Hotels, Scottish Government, Etihad Airlines x Manchester City, Tefal, Grosvenor Casinos, FT Group, Travelodge, Merlin Entertainments (The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, The London Dungeon).
You should have a passion for creating culture-shaping, thumb-stopping content and activations that transform brands.
Your responsibilities include managing a studio team, guiding creative strategies, and delivering exceptional design solutions. This role combines creative vision, technical skills, and leadership.
You will report to the MD, Social & Influencer, and collaborate with the MD, Stripe, Edinburgh, and a traffic manager to ensure project flow, resource management, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creative Direction: Provide strategic insight for digital projects, conceptualize innovative design solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to develop visual concepts.
2. Design Expertise: Lead the design process using industry software, stay updated with trends, develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
3. Social Media: Create assets for social platforms, collaborate on content calendars, and ensure brand consistency.
4. Team Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, manage workloads, foster a creative environment.
5. Relationship Management: Build strong client relationships, present concepts, and identify upselling opportunities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
* At least 6 years of experience in a design role, preferably in an agency or digital marketing setting.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design projects, especially social media content.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
* Experience with workflow and project management tools.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Keen eye for visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
