Overview
You will deliver primary care consultations to customers within our Boots site in Bishop Auckland, ensuring a high‑quality service that delivers high customer satisfaction. The role is part of a network of dedicated Bupa Health Clinics across the UK, with a supportive environment that values autonomy, collaboration and a healthy work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
* Deliver face‑to‑face GP consultations.
* Undertake clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice.
* Attend and participate in clinical meetings and training sessions as required.
* Participate in an annual clinical review and competency assessments.
* Work with the Lead Physician on quality improvement activities including audits.
* Provide clinical advice and guidance to colleagues, including health advisors and administrative staff.
Qualifications and Skills
* GMC GP Registration.
* Professional, caring manner.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training certificate.
* Current Adult and Children Safeguarding Level 3 training certificate.
* Member of a Medical Defence Organisation.
* Excellent time‑management and flexibility.
* Experience in general practice with good clinical decision‑making skills.
* Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and revalidation.
* IT proficiency including MS Office, e‑records, and e‑prescribing.
