Job Title: Cell Lead – Electro-Mechanical Testing
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Cell Lead to join our clients Operations team based in Sunbury-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional from an aerospace electro-mechanical testing environment who is looking to step into a leadership role or continue developing their team management skills.
In this role, you will lead a team within a shared services test cell, overseeing the testing of complex electro-mechanical systems, managing workflow and ensuring targets for quality, safety and delivery are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, schedule and manage work within the test cell to meet the operational plan.
* Oversee the testing of electro-mechanical aerospace components, including calibration of chambers and test rigs.
* Lead, mentor and develop a skilled team of technicians and engineers, conducting regular performance reviews and training.
* Maintain and manage the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) database and generate comprehensive test reports.
* Drive Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and structured problem-solving activities.
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in electro-mechanical testing within the aerospace industry (essential).
* Background in a test house or production environment with leadership or senior-level responsibility.
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g. 5S, 6S, continuous improvement).
* Strong hands-on technical skills in test rig operations, product calibration and fault investigation.
* Confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
* Eligibility Requirement: Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
* Must have the right to work in the UK – please note we are unable to accept spousal visas.
