MILK Education is working with a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across the North East to recruit Graduate Support Assistants. These roles are ideal for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, youth justice, social work or pastoral leadership.
Psychology and Criminology Graduate role:
In this varied and rewarding role, you may:
1. Support pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
2. Work with students presenting SEMH and behavioural needs
3. Provide pastoral support to promote emotional wellbeing
4. Offer general classroom support alongside teaching staff
5. Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions
6. Help students overcome barriers to learning and engagement
We Are Looking For in a Psychology or Criminology Graduate:
7. Recent graduates in Psychology, Criminology or related subjects
8. A strong interest in SEND, SEMH, behaviour or pastoral support
9. Calm, resilient and empathetic individuals
10. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
11. Experience with young people (desirable but not essential)
