About the Role:
* Position: Grounds Maintenance Assistant
* Location: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital - Colney, South Norfolk
* Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)
* Start Date: ASAP - June 2025
* Working Pattern: Full Time - Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm (Required to work every 3rd weekend)
* Hourly Rate: 12.21
What You'll Do:
As a Grounds Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our hospital gardens, and public spaces looking their best. Your daily tasks will include:
* Mowing and maintaining lawns
* Pruning plants and shrubs
* Weeding flower beds and pathways
* Assisting with planting and landscaping projects
* Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used safely
