Hours

Full time considered up to a maximum of 1.0 FTE/ 37.5 hours per week. The core working hours in Medical Research Building are 8:30 - 17:30, therefore the daily working hours have to be within core hours, flexible working options outside core hours would not be considered suitable for this role.

Grade 4 starting at £26,093 to £29,588 per annum, pro rata if part time. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.

About the role

The Technical Research Coordinator is part of the web-lab technical team in the Medical Research Building which serves as a point of contact and link between students, staff members, internal departments, and external contacts providing effective direction and coordination of processes to maintain our excellent learning and research environment.

The role coordinates, manages and maintains clerical support required by the research groups in MRB and provides administrative support to Senior Technical Service Manager, BSMS academics and senior professional service managers ensuring that the processes and services for which they are responsible operate smoothly.

We are looking for a well-organized and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to provide administrative and technical support for the Medical Research Building.
