Your role will help us deliver fresh, high-quality bread and baked goods to homes and businesses every day. Key responsibilities include: • Safety First: Proactively report hazards and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a Zero Harm workplace. • Order Fulfillment: Pick, load, unload, and manage products with accuracy and efficiency. • Adaptability: Take on various tasks across the despatch operation and embrace learning new skills. • Performance Excellence: Achieve targets using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other performance tools. • Standards Compliance: Maintain a “clean as you go” approach, contributing to internal and external audits. • Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams across the site to ensure seamless operations.What Makes You the Right Fit To thrive in this role at Allied Bakeries, you’ll bring: • Experience in a warehousing or distribution environment. • PC literacy and familiarity with WMS systems. • Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills. • A team-focused attitude, reliability, and great organisational skills. • Flexibility and a proactive approach to challenges. • External FLT licenses (desirable but not essential). • Strong customer and quality focus.
