The Role As Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure consistently high standards across service, team performance, and guest experience.
You'll be a hands-on leader who sets the tone on shift and brings energy, structure, and positivity to the team.
Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and support all areas of the restaurant operation
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team training
Motivate, coach, and develop team members to perform at their best
Manage rotas and support effective labour control
Maintain exceptional service standards during busy periods
Handle guest feedback and ensure memorable customer experiences
Support stock control, deliveries, and operational efficiency
Step up confidently into the GM role when required
About You Previous experience in a hospitality management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences
Calm, confident, and effective under pressure
Commercially aware with strong operational understanding
Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised
Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing business
What's On Offer £36,000 base salary + tronc + quarterly bonus (OTE £44,000)
