We’re seeking a motivated Apprenticeship Skills Coach to deliver high-impact, learner-centred support for Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and leadership apprenticeship programmes.

We are an independent vocational education training provider looking for positive, dynamic people to join our fast-expanding team who want to help others progress and develop through their apprenticeship. About the job

You will manage a remote caseload of learners, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality coaching, tailored support, and regular progress tracking to ensure every learner reaches their full potential and successfully completes their programme.

Visiting learners in the workplace/remotely and training and assessing them as part of their Apprenticeship programme to ensure successful outcomes in line with contractual requirements and targets.


Key Responsibilities

* Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
* Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
* Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely achievement.
* Track progress and implement interventions where necessary to maintain engagement.
* Liaise with employers to ensure training aligns with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with funding and Ofsted requirements.
* Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
* Stay current with industry trends to enhance delivery and learner outcomes.
* Prepare, agree, and review assessment plans with each candidate.
* Create learner portfolios to agreed standards and ensure timely submission.
* Carry out learner visits at least monthly, either face-to-face or remotely, to provide support.
* Conduct employer visits to complete Progress reviews.


Requirements for the successful Apprenticeship Trainer


What We’re Looking For

* Vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business with a passion for coaching future leaders and professionals.
* Own transport and ability to cover the South if required (remote delivery).
* Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to relate well to staff and learners of all abilities.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload, including travel to various locations for visits, training, and assessment.
* Ability and desire to deliver training sessions to groups and individuals regarding the full Apprenticeship standard, including Vocational Qualification.
* Organized and methodical approach to work.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented.
* Good literacy and numeracy (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
* TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
* Own NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 qualification (supportive but not essential).


Additional desirable experience

* Proven coaching or training experience in apprenticeship or education settings.
* Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
* Recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
