Overview
Adaptable Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking business based in Liverpool that is continuing to strengthen its finance function. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to take ownership of customer accounts and play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative finance team within a stable and professional organisation.
Key Duties
* Taking full responsibility for a portfolio of customer accounts
* Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone and email
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers
* Investigating and resolving payment queries and disputes promptly
* Allocating payments and reconciling customer ledgers
* Reviewing credit limits and supporting credit risk assessments
* Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow reporting
* Assisting with month-end close activities
* Working closely with sales and internal stakeholders to resolve account issues
Skills and Experience Required
1. Proven experience in a Credit Control position
