Full-time Teaching Assistant vacancies - within schools, Dudley
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Full-Time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our network of special schools in Dudley on a long-term basis. Our schools are dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with diverse needs, fostering inclusive and nurturing environments where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
2. Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring engagement and support.
3. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
4. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
6. Support students with personal care needs, if required.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
2. A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support are desirable but not essential.
7. Understanding of the challenges and rewards of working in a special school environment.
8. Patience, empathy, and resilience to support students with varying needs and abilities.
9. Ability to follow individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt to specific requirements of each student.
