What You'll Do
As a key member of our supportive team, you'll enjoy a varied role with responsibilities both in the kitchen and front-of-house. Your days will include:
Kitchen Responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking a range of fresh hot, and cold dishes to a consistently high standard
* Presenting food with care and attention to detail
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen at all times following our Strict HACCP procedures
* Supporting stock rotation and strict kitchen hygiene procedures
Front of House & Customer Service:
* Welcoming and checking in customers, ensuring everyone feels valued and looked after
* Serving customers using the POS system
* Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffees (full training provided if required)
* Delivering friendly, efficient customer service and handling customer queries professionally
* Supporting the wider team during busy periods to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
* Essential:
* Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
* Previous cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or similar setting
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay calm under pressure
* A positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills
* Genuine passion for good food and customer care
* Desirable:
* Barista experience or willingness to learn
* Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification
* Understanding of dietary requirements and allergen management
* Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience
