Welder, Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Knowsley Industrial Estate
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour plus potential overtime.
Hours: Full-time
Start: Immediate
We’re recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established fabrication business based in Knowsley. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work, a skilled team environment, and opportunities to develop specialist welding techniques.
Key Duties
Experienced in TIG and MIG welding
Carrying out precision welding on mild and stainless steel
Performing fully purged (back purging) TIG welding to high-quality standards.
Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Supporting occasional site-based installation work as required.
Using workshop equipment and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets required specifications and quality standards.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and equipment.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a TIG Welder working with thin gauge stainless steel.
Strong experience with TIG welding.
Ability to weld pipework and ducting to a high standard.
Experience with stainless fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
