Our Tunbridge Wells-based Legal 500 Tier 1 corporate/commercial team is looking for a Legal Secretary.
About the role
The corporate/commercial team deals with a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, private equity work, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, commercial/software contracts, intellectual property and data agreements.
In this role, you will provide support to a range of fee-earners from junior level to partner. As a Legal Secretary, your tasks will include file opening, updating our central database, supporting fee-earners with billing, arranging payment or reimbursement of expenses, diary management (meetings, travel, calls, and lunches) and providing administrative support during completions.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who are either at the beginning of their career as a Legal Secretary, returning after a career break and looking for a supportive environment, or those with excellent transferable organisational skills from an administrative role. You should be able to prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
