TimePlan Education is seeking compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school based near Ely. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
You will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and ADHD. Pupils range from primary through to secondary age, and your role will be to help them engage positively with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life and social skills.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH needs
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Ability to build strong relationships and manage challenging behaviour positively
Own transport is preferable due to the school's rural location
