You will be working for an organisation based in Birmingham on a 6-month contract. This role is outside scope of IR35 and its hybrid working 2–3 days a week on-site in Birmingham.


Your new role

My clients are looking for a Business Change Manager who can join their existing team. This role requires someone with a council background ideally, or centralernment experience. Oracle Fusion/ERP is key for this role.

Key Deliverables:
1. Work with the Oracle Business Change Manager to finalise the details of the Business Change Strategy, with the role of the Business Change Delivery Lead to focus on the detail of how that strategy will be delivered through building, executing and monitoring the detailed business change delivery plan.
2. Liaise with external delivery partner(s) to confirm and plan delivery details ( training sessions, materials, coaching, engagement sessions etc.) aligning this with the detailed business change delivery plan.
3. Liaise with internal delivery capabilities/resources to confirm and plan delivery details ( training sessions, materials, coaching, engagement sessions etc.) aligning this with the detailed business change delivery plan.
4. Liaise with key business sponsors and workstream leads over the detailed business change delivery plan.
5. Proactively identifying and resolving blockers and issues relating to the delivery of the business change plan
6. Seeking formal and informal feedback from participants of the business change plan and key business sponsors and proposing solutions/changes to issues/blockers identified and updating the business change plan accordingly.
7. Project managing the delivery of the detailed business change delivery plan.
This includes providing progress updates and reports in line with the agreed PMO calendar, identification of key milestones, update of the project plan, identification and mitigation of risks and issues, and escalation of issues and blockers in line with agreedernance processes.

Essential Skills and Experience Required
8. Experience in delivering business change in a lead business change or delivery manager role.
9. Experience in implementing business change around back office / ERP / Finance, HR and Procurement
10. Extensive experience working as a business change specialist in previous ERP implementations, preferably Oracle Cloud.
11. Experience in managing third party suppliers and contracts in delivering services related to business change / training etc.
12. Experience working with/in localernment organisations is essential.
13. Ability to analyseplex problems, design proactive solutions and help implement change in a team-oriented environment.
14. Strong written and verbalmunication and presentational skills, able to liaise effectively with key senior stakeholders.
