This role is about much more than property checks its about supporting people by ensuring our houses are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. About the Role Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Day shifts (8:30am5:00pm / 9:00am5:30pm), plus one late shift (12:30pm9:00pm) per week Minimum of one weekend in four, plus bank holidays (including Christmas and New Year) on a rota basis Location: Maidstone & Medway, Kent As a Housing Services Team Member, youll: Carry out daily checks across properties (e.g. heating, water, fire safety) Complete room checks and collect weekly signatures and rent payments Monitor health & safety standards and report issues promptly Carry out minor repairs within your ability and report major repairs to maintenance Support residents with internal moves where needed Address and manage incidents of anti-social behaviour Build positive, professional relationships with residents while ensuring house rules are respected Keep clear and professional recording of housing related support on individual resident files This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. About You Were looking for someone who is: Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic A clear communicator, with confidence to manage challenging behaviour fairly and calmly Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as part of a rota IT literate with good organisational skills A full manual driving licence is essential due to the location of our properties. Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills who are passionate about making a difference.
